Preoperative skin antiseptic, Acts rapidly, Non-staining, Non-irritating, Healing of wounds
As a antiseptic scrub for pre- and post-operative skin washing, wound cleansing and shampooing of skin irritations. Washing whenever a germicidal soap is required. Maximum degerming of the hands. Used routinely, it may help discourage reoccurring skin irritations. Non-staining to skin, hair and natural fabrics. Midodine Povidone Iodine 7.5% Scrub is equivalent to 0.75% titratable iodine. For external use only. Do not use if allergic to iodine. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Use on the skin undiluted.
Surgical hand scrub: Clean under nails with a nail pick. Nails should be maintained with a 1 millimeter free edge. Wet hands and forearms. Apply 5 milliliters (teaspoonful) or palmful to hands and forearms. Scrub thoroughly for five minutes paying particular attention to the nails, cuticles, and interdigital spaces. Rinse and repeat scrub.
Antiseptic hand wash: Wet hands with water and pour approximately 5 mL (1 teaspoonful) of scrub on hands. Rub hands vigorously together for at least 15 seconds, covering all surfaces. Rinse and dry with a disposable towel.
Preoperative skin preparation: After the surgical area is clipped, wet with water. Apply scrub (1 mL is sufficient to cover an area of 20 to 30 square inches), develop lather, and scrub thoroughly for approximately 5 minutes. Rinse using sterile gauze saturated with water. The area may then be painted with Midodine Solution and allowed to dry.
