Midodine, Povidone-Iodine solution - 100mg/ml

Used for antiseptic treatment of the skin, hand hygiene and surgical disinfection. Application: before surgery, gynecological and obstetric manipulations, bladder catheterization, biopsies, injections, punctures, blood sampling, burn treatment, immediate disinfection after contact with infected material and surfaces. Destroys microorganisms: viruses, bacteria, fungi, spores, protozoa. In the povidone complex, iodine has a significantly lower irritant effect compared to iodine alcohol solutions. May cause skin irritation or allergic skin reactions if you are allergic to iodine or if you have thyroid disease. Attention! Use in neonates or infants up to 6 months of age only if absolutely indicated.

For external use only. Use on the skin undiluted and diluted. The diluted solution should be prepared shortly before use. The diluted solution may be used prior to ophthalmic surgery.

For hygienic hand disinfection 2x3ml undiluted solution with an exposure time of 30 sec each time.

For surgical hand disinfection 2x5ml undiluted solution with an exposure time of 5 minutes.

An undiluted solution is used to disinfect the skin, allowing it to dry.

Ingredients: 1 ml of solution contains 100 mg iodinated povidone, equivalent to 10 mg active iodine, glycerol, sodium hydroxide, sodium benzoate.
